Strategy and Concept Development

restaurant2r.jpgIn association with our network of professonal, independent management, design and technical consultants we work with our clients to develop a bespoke, robust catering strategy and business model.

A&E Catering Design provide feasibility reports, option appraisals, financial modelling, customer attitudinal surveys and benchmarking.

Our operations consultants also undertake quality audits of existing facilities, produce catering service provider specifications and manage the complete tendering exercise.

Design and Procurement

Mainkitchen2.jpgA&E Catering Design are specialists in conceptual and detailed design. We have experience of new build schemes, Cat-B fit-outs and refurbishment projects, some involving historic and listed buildings.

Our network of designers, management consultants and technical specialists develop the complete foodservice solution tailored to meet our clients' specific operational and practical demands.

We prepare CAD generated layouts, elevations, M&E data sheets, 3D visualisations, production information, performance and workmanship specifications and pricing schedules relating to the catering equipment supply package to suit the preferred procurement route; JCT, Design and Build or direct purchase.

As members of a design and project team we work closely with other disciplines to provide a fully co-ordinated and cohesive scheme.



Project Monitoring and Handover

site2.jpgA&E Catering Design do not directly supply or install catering equipment, however we do believe in performance monitoring and liaising closely with contractors, either client-side or novated, to ensure the tendered designs and performance specifications are delivered correctly and for the pre-agreed contract sum.

We status and approve catering equipment manufacturer drawings and comment on those provided by others associated trades, identifying discrepancies. Together with regular co-ordination and progress reviews we are able to keep a 'close eye' on site developments.

On practical completion we produce a schedule of defects and monitor their rectification.

In association with our management consultant partners we offer training and mobilisation support on handover until we are satisfied the operation is running smoothly.
